Dear Child of God,
I discern a spirit of fear of the unknown that has been strategically assigned to obstruct your destiny. This force, straight from the depths of hell, aims to frustrate you and thwart God’s divine purpose for your life. This spirit is why you often find yourself questioning whether you are on the right path. It is a formidable enemy, determined to drive you away from your calling and destiny.
This same fear has hindered many men and women with profound purposes from God, preventing them from fulfilling their divine destinies. It plagued the entire nation of Israel after their exodus from Egypt, causing all but Caleb and Joshua to fall short of the Promised Land. They were besieged by doubts: “What if we die? What if our children starve? What if this is all a mistake? What if this is a trap? What if we are wasting our lives? What if we never really heard from God? What if God doesn’t come through for us? What if we should have stayed in Egypt?” This relentless “What if?” questioning can destroy your destiny if you allow it. But you must not let it. Focus on the future that God has for you, and as you do, it will be well with you. God is assigning an angel to walk with you.
For every Jericho wall you face, an angel has been sent to help you in battle. Though you might feel alone, and even when those around you cannot help, God has assigned His angel to fight for you. With this divine assistance, you will conquer every battle. Every wall of limitation, every barrier that impedes your progress, will fall in Jesus’ name.
The Lord has revealed to me that a specific, dangerous fear has been obstructing your destiny: the fear of the unknown. This is the fear Joshua faced when confronting the towering walls of Jericho, an unprecedented challenge. Standing at the threshold of the Promised Land, Joshua could have been paralyzed by uncertainty. Instead, he moved forward with determination. God responded by sending an angel with a battle plan, ensuring victory in their first major conflict in the Promised Land.
You cannot progress by dwelling on the past. The Bible instructs us to forget the former things, for God is doing a new thing (Isaiah 43:18-19). Joshua knew returning to Egypt was not an option. His only choice was to move forward, trusting in God’s plan.
The spirit of fear of the unknown is perilous because it erects barriers that only God can dismantle. It leads us to build walls around ourselves, seeking self-protection. But only God can bring down these walls. Only He knows the future and the plans He has for you—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.
Today, we confront and defeat this spirit of fear of the unknown. From where I stand, I see the Promised Land. Beyond the Jericho walls lies favor, prosperity, happiness, growth, and all the desires of your heart. This is why it is crucial to demolish every fear of the unknown. Pray, expose, and bind every spirit of fear that seeks to hinder you and frustrate God’s plans for your life. Confront your fears, for God has assured, as He did with Joshua, that all will be well with you.
