Today’s Devotion and Reflection is based on the Scripture: Joshua 14:12 (NIV)
“Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.”
Moral Story:
The story of Caleb serves as a powerful reminder of the courage we need to face and conquer the giants in our lives. Despite the intimidating Anakites and their well-fortified cities, Caleb held onto God’s promise and trusted in His help. With unwavering faith, he boldly declared his determination to drive out the giants from the land. Caleb’s story teaches us that when we rely on the Lord’s strength, no obstacle is too great for us to overcome.
Short Prayer:
Heavenly Father, grant me the courage and strength to face the giants in my life. Help me hold onto Your promises, knowing that with Your help, I can conquer any challenge. Fill me with unwavering faith and the confidence to declare victory over every obstacle. In Jesus’ name, amen.
